6 Speed Cleaning Tips Everybody Should Know

Speed cleaning is different from a deep cleaning. While deep cleaning focuses on cleaning every area in a home speed cleaning just focuses on how fast you can clean the main areas/rooms in your house. It’s best to speed clean when you have guests coming over and you don’t have enough time to deep clean.

But most people seem to have an issue when it comes on to speed cleaning. They usually say it’s hard to speed clean because they usually end up taking too long to clean a certain room or area.

So this is why I created these speed cleaning tips to help out those who have trouble cleaning their homes very quickly.

1.GET BETTER CLEANING EQUIPMENT

If you realize that your cleaning equipment is not cleaning fast enough it’s probably time for an upgrade. For example, this means that you should probably get a Swiffer wet jet instead of using an ordinary mop.

2. CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF

This might be hard for some people but it’s not that difficult. For example, when you are done using a plate or a cup don’t just leave them in the sink; you should clean them. Doing things like this will make your home much more cleaner because you are putting things back in place after you use them so your house won’t look cluttered and unclean.

3. WIPE AND DUST OFF SURFACES AND AREAS BEFORE YOU CLEAN THE FLOORS

You might be wondering why this is this necessary?; It’s because a lot of dust tends to be on surfaces like tables and countertops. If you clean the floors then dust off the tables and countertops you are just creating more work for yourself. So it’s best to clean from top to bottom.

4.TIME YOUR SELF

This tip is rather simple. All you have to do is just time yourself by using a clock or your phone.  Doing this will motivate you to clean faster.

5.FOCUS ON THE EASY AREAS

When I say this I also mean the areas that people such as guests are going to see or be in. So since we are speed cleaning we won’t focus on areas such as the refrigerator, the appliances or other rooms and areas guests won’t be in because our goal isn’t to deep clean the entire house.

6.VACUUM THE FLOORS

All you have to do is just vacuum the floors in areas such as the living room, kitchen, bedroom, passageways, and bedrooms. Now since we are speed cleaning we won’t be vacuuming for too long. So it’s best to vacuum each room very quickly.
